Licinius II, Caesar, 317-324. Follis (Silvered bronze, 19 mm, 3.28 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. LICINIVS IVN NOB C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Licinius II to right, seen from behind. Rev. ROMAE A-ETERNAE / R ЄΡⲰC T Roma seated right, inscribing with her right hand shield set on her left knee with X/V in two lines; at her side, shield. RIC 198. Well struck and clear with a charming portrait of the young Caesar. Thin flan crack, otherwise, about extremely fine.

This is the finest of seven known examples in private hands, all from officina T, as are the three examples in public collections, including the Oxford coin where Bruun in RIC mistook the T for an S.
